In the past season, as soon as players reached Level 39, they could be attacked by anyone, including L50+ attackers. With the increasing power of newly-released elite units, it has become clear that players in the high-30s/low-40s level range still need a few more levels to upgrade their forces before becoming “fair game” for maxed-out attackers.
Starting with Season 8, which begins October 5 at 1700GMT, the new PvP level limits will be as follows, for attacks on home bases:
- Level 39 and below: attack anyone 4 levels below you, up to 4 levels above you
- Level 40+: see chart below
These limits apply only to home bases. Battalions and quarries can always be attacked regardless of the level difference.
Here is a table of the exact level ranges for home-base attacks:
* The usual “revenge” rule still applies: if you launch an attack against any player, that player then becomes entitled to take revenge on you for 24 hours, regardless of the level difference.
