Game improvements

We’ve received quite a few complaints about the cooldown between battalion orders taking up to a few seconds when they should always be less than a second. This bug has been fixed, but please do let us know if you see any long cooldowns on battalion orders.

Game improvements

And that’s not all, Commander! We have rolled out a long-requested feature for Battlefront Mars: minimum battalion size.

Map 600 and map 100 are testing this feature now. Both now have a battalion size limit of 45, the equivalent of 3x Marines, and the limit is displayed on the map info screen just before relocating to either one. Attempting to deploy a smaller battalion size will result in the following message:

We’re also testing the performance of fractional-second cooldowns to address complaints of auto-clickers. We currently have a 0.75 second cooldown between battalion orders, but we have adjusted this several times during testing and will probably adjust it further.

Game improvements

And that’s not all, Commander! We made a small quality-of-life update where when you hover over any tech, it will show the time and resource requirements and the building or blueprint required if you can’t upgrade to the next level yet. If you can upgrade to the next level, it will tell you the max level you meet the requirements at that moment. No more clicking on each tech just to see if you meet the requirements!

Welcome to Season 20!

Welcome to Season 20! Going into the new season, all Leaderboards and PvP Points are reset, meaning that it’s a fresh start for YOUR Clan to be the new the dominating Clan of the Season, and win the Seasonal Clan Tournament Grand Prize of 10,000 Gold for your Clan at the end of the Season in 3 months from now. Does your Clan have what it takes?

This week in Battlefront Mars:

End of Season 19 Clan Tournament

Heads up, Martians!

From September 30th, 2021 – October 7th, 2021, rally your Clan and head to the regional map for your chance to be the strongest Clan of Season 18!

Be one of the Top Clans with the most Clan PvP Points to win between 3,000-10,000 Gold, divided evenly among the top 10 members of your clan.

Tournament ends on October 7th, 2021 at 1700 GMT, at which point winners will be announced, prizes awarded, and leaderboards will be reset for the new season. It’s important to note that you should stay in the same Clan through the end of the tournament and for at least one hour afterward, until at least 1800 GMT to ensure your Clan’s prizes are scored correctly.

Season 20 opens on October 7th, 2021

• The new season will begin immediately after the end of the tournament.
• Please be reminded that PvP points can only be accumulated on the “Highlands” map
