WSE: War Star Empire Disabled by Facebook, Beta Client for Play – July 14th Patch Notes

New this week in War Star Empire:

Attention, Commanders!

War Star Empire is currently disabled by Facebook as part of their regular policy compliance sweeps. All other Battlehouse games have passed this year’s review, and we’re not sure why War Star did not, considering that our compliance configurations are identical in all games.

We are currently working with Facebook to resolve this issue, and we appreciate your patience while we bring the game back to Facebook.

To use the app, please follow these steps.

1. Install and open the app
2. Create a new account (for quickest processing, we recommend you use your Facebook account for this)
3. Start the game and find that you now have a “new” Level 1 account
4. Grab the player ID for this “newbie” account (you may need to play a little bit of the tutorial first)
5. Send this “newbie” player ID, and your original WSE player ID (or callsign) to:
   • Wulfstan (https://bit.ly/3uH16pJ) via direct message on Facebook
   • bh-nirgal on Discord (https://bit.ly/3c4knuG) via direct message (right-click on his name, then click “Message”)
   • Support team (https://bit.ly/3Piu8nm)

Step 5 is absolutely necessary, as we will need to migrate your Facebook account to the client. Without this step, you will NOT be able to play your old account on the beta client.

Friends Bar Clan Integration

And that’s not all, Commander!

For the past few months, the gifting system has been popping in and out of existence. Unfortunately, this is due to Facebook breaking something on their side, and is not something we are able to fix on ours.

So we’ve been looking for ways to break free of this reliance on Facebook, and the first step to do that is now here: the “Friends” bar will now show clan members!

A transparent clan logo on a player in your friend bar will indicate that they are a clanmate.

As mentioned before, this is just the beginning. This will be developed further down the road, so stay tuned for more updates!
