Patch Notes: Thunder Run

This week in Thunder Run:

Selected levels of the Blowback event feature increased loot:

• Blowback Single Player Levels 28-32 now contain 30-100% more ONP loot than before, up to 35,000 ONP for Level 32.
• Springer’s Level 30+ camps on the map now contain 10-50% more ONP than before, up to 35,000 ONP for Level 38.

Beware, Springer’s defenses have been upgraded too!

New this week in Thunder Run:

Elite Unit Improvements

The following units have been updated with stronger stats:

• Elite TOS-1A: +30% Damage at all levels
• Elite BTR-90: +30% Damage at all levels
• Elite MSTA: +30% HP at all levels
• Elite BRDM-3: +30% HP at all levels
• Elite Truck Bomb: 10-30% faster training speed at all levels

Hit List Update

• The Hit List will now have a brief daily “downtime” between 1630 and 1700 GMT. Each day’s hit list bases will expire at 1630 GMT and the next day’s bases will start to appear at 1700 GMT. This fixes an accounting issue where Valor points earned in battles that were still in progress during the 1700 GMT reset were credited to the next day.

Bug Fixes

• On C-RAM and Elevated HEL turret weapons, the anti-missile intercept chance no longer decreases at Level 11+.
• “Mount a … Weapon” missions now correctly recognize Level 11+ turret weapons as completing the mission goal.

Daily Login Reward Update

• Short-term combat loot boosts in the Daily Login reward system have been replaced by a random selection of missiles, shields, resources, or instant repair items. The new rewards are easier to use because they do not expire within 1 day like the old combat loot boosts.

Thunder Run Season 9 Changes

The following changes are live as of today:

• One new map opens: Map 611.
• Some old maps retire: Maps 212, 214, 606.

This week Thunder Run features an End of Season Clan Tournament, followed by the opening of Season 9!

Season Finale Tournament

From January 4th – 11th, rally your Clan and head to the regional map for your chance to be the strongest Clan of Season 8!

Tournament ends on January 11th, 2018 at 1700 GMT, at which point winners will be announced, prizes awarded, and leaderboards will be reset for the new season.

New Season Opens: January 11th

The new season will begin immediately after the end of the tournament. The following changes are planned:

Thunder Run (Season 9):

• One new map will be added: Map 611.
• Some old maps will be retired: Maps 212, 214, 606.

New this week in Thunder Run:

Elite Units Gain Toughness

The following units now feature 20-50% greater HP at all levels:

• Sapper
• Elite Stryker
• Elite Truck Bomb
• Elite BRDM-3
• Elite MSTA
• Elite BTR-90
• Elite TOS-1A
• Elite Stinger Gunner
• Elite Truck Bomb

And one training improvement:

• Elite BRDM-3 now trains and repairs 5-10% faster at all levels

Technical Updates

• Non-combat boost items like Fuel/Supply production boosts no longer take up space on the in-combat item hotbar.
• Fixed a few cases where battles would not end automatically even after all enemy units and buildings were destroyed.
• Various non-boost effects such as missile/CAS cooldowns were incorrectly counting against the player boost limit; these are now excluded from the limit.

• MSTA and Elite MSTA: 30% more HP at all levels
• Elite BTR-90: 30% more HP at all levels
• Elite BMP-1: 30% more HP at all levels
• Elite BRDM-3: 30% more HP at all levels
• Elite Stryker: 30% more HP at all levels
• Elite Truck Bomb: +100% DPS against turret weapons (up from +50% previously)

New this week in Thunder Run:

Security teams from Level 4 leaders now deploy as soon as enemies approach a protected building! If the attacker retreats, the security team automatically returns back inside the building.

This update means that your base will be better protected once your leaders are upgraded to Level 4.

The first Level 4 teams to be available are:

• Lima Force Turret Emplacement security teams and
• Mike Force Hardware Depot/Leader Building security teams
