Thunder Run: End of Season 6 Clan Tournament Update (24 Hour Warning!)

There’s only 24 hours left in the Thunder Run end of Season 6 Clan Tournament!

At this point in the tournament, Wheres The Rent are in the lead with 14,241 points. OPLAN TOKHANG PH are in 2nd with 8,776 points, and xXnew mapXx are rounding out the top 3 with 4,283 points.

Important Notes

  • If you plan to change Clans before the tournament ends, you may do so, but don’t wait until the very last minute. Please join your final tournament Clan at least one hour before the tournament ends (1600 GMT). This will ensure that points are credited to the proper Clans.
  • For similar reasons, if you plan to change Clans after the tournament, please stay in your tournament Clan for at least one hour after the tournament ends (1800 GMT).

Season 7 Opens: July 13

Season 7 will begin immediately after the end of the tournament. The following changes are planned for Season 7:

  • The “shark tank” level at which players can be attacked by anyone will rise from Level 33 to Level 39. This change gives Level 36-38 players protection against attacks from higher-level enemies.
  • Two new maps, Maps 608 and 609, will open to all players.
  • Four older maps will be retired: Maps 203, 206, 223, and 225.

Patch Note: June 29, 2017

New this week in Thunder Run and Days of Valor:

Gameplay Updates

  • The Elite Rifleman, BMP-1, and MQ-8B now have 10% greater HP.
  • The option to trade in expired ONP for Hardware will be available again during the next special event week.

Technical Updates

  • When using consumable items like missiles and boosts in battle, if you have more than one stack of the same item with different expiration dates, the game will now use up the earliest-expiring stack first.
  • A “restack” button has been added to the Warehouse inventory. Pressing this button will organize your items into the fewest stacks possible to save space. (note: stacks with different expiration dates must still remain separate, and the usual stacking limit for each item type still applies).
  • Fixed a bug that caused the chat text box to lose keyboard focus when the mouse cursor is moved away from it.
  • A UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter arrives at the pickup zone in a joint-training exercise during Operation Atlantic Resolve. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Thomas Scaggs)

Thunder Run: Hardware Loot Shift

New this week in Thunder Run:

  • In Single-Player bases and AI-controlled camps, 30% of Hardware loot is now shifted from Hardware Depots/Yards into the TOC.

This change is intended to solve the problem where players attack AI camps on the map, destroy Hardware Depots/Yards, but leave the TOC untouched, preventing fresh new camps from spawning.

From now on, players who want to loot all available Hardware must destroy the TOC, which will cause the camp to disappear and be replaced by a fresh new copy elsewhere on the map.

ONP Trade-in Offer (This week only!)

Only this week in Thunder Run:

Left-over Ops Needs Points can be traded in for Hardware after the end of this special event.

When the special event store closes this Saturday, June 24 at 1700GMT, any remaining ONP in your Warehouse will automatically convert to “Obsolete ONP” that you can trade in for Hardware, at a ratio of 2 Hardware per ONP.

To perform the trade-in, wait until after the event Store closes on Saturday at 1700 GMT, then click the “Obsolete ONP” item in your Warehouse and choose “Trade All In”.

Notes:

  • Obsolete ONP must be traded in for Hardware before the start of the next event; it cannot be carried over between event weeks.
  • This is a one-week-only offer. We will let you know in advance if we plan ONP trade-ins for any future week.
  • Hardware storage is limited by your Depot space. Check your Hardware Depots before trading.
